Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximian, wearing laurel wreath and beard, facing r. Reverse: Africa, in long drapery with elephant-skin head-dress, standing frontally with head facing l., holding standard in r. and tusk in l.; lion with captured bull at feet, to l. and H in field, to r.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP MHXIMIHNVS P F HVC (Imperator Maximian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: FELIX H-D-VENT HVCC NN (Happy Arrival of Our Two Emperors). In Exergue: PKB

Notes:  According to RIC, the PKB in the exergue on the reverse and H in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Carthage.
