Description:  Obverse: Head of Diocletian, wearing laurel wreath and beard, facing r. Reverse: Genius, naked but cloaked and wearing modius, standing facing l., holding patera in r. and cornucopia in l.; Δ, K, V and E in field, to mid-l., bottom l., bottom r. and mid-r. respectively.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C DIOCLETIHNVS P F HVG (Imperator Caesar Diocletian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: CENIO POPV-LI ROMANI (To the Genius of the Roman People). In Exergue: HNT

Bibliography:  RIC VI 54A var.

Notes:  According to RIC, the [A]NT in the exergue on the reverse and the Δ K (on l.) E V (on r.) in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officinae) indicating Antioch. As opposed to the type found in RIC, this coin has an extra mintmark in the field on the reverse (Δ).
