Description:  Obverse: Head of Maxentius, wearing laurel wreath and beard, facing r. Reverse: Roma, draped and helmeted, seated frontally with head facing l., holding globe in r. and sceptre in l., in hexastyle temple with knobs as acroteria and empty pediment.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: MΠXENTIVS P F HVC (Maxentius Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: CONSERV VRB SVAE (Defender of the City). In Exergue: ST

Bibliography:  RIC VI 91

Notes:  According to RIC, the ST in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Ticinum.
