Description: Obverse: Khusrau I facing r. on frontal bust, bearded, with hair tied in a bunch over r. shoulder, nine pellets in circle with three pellets within, in triangle formation; six-pointed star to l. of crown; crown with two mural elements, crescent with six-pointed star above forehead, above this covered korymbos resting on crescent, two minor ribbons commencing from middle of line extending up from crown to connect with korymbos, three vertical lines and two pellets in korymbos; double pearl diadem below mural crown elements; earring consisting of three pellets in triangle formation; neck line of tunic edged with a row of pearls, with large pellet at centre of line; double row of pearls running from both shoulders to breast, six-pointed star with crescent in each shoulder, three pellets in triangle formation on breast; crescents upon both shoulders; two ribbons commencing behind the neck, flowing to edge of border then pointing upwards; single ridged border; crescent at 90, 180 and 270 degrees. Reverse: Fire altar, with narrow shaft, small horizontal line at pinnacle and base, three small horizontal lines in centre; altar base consisting of two levels; two altar slabs atop the shaft; flame rendered as four tiers of four, three, two and one pellets respectively; six-pointed star to left of flame, upturned crescent to right of flame; to the left and right of fire attendants, full-body, facing forward, holding staff in hand closest to border, arm raised, other arm resting on sheathed sword on hip, five chevrons in trousers, belts composed of two solid horizontal lines at waist, hair in two bunches at either side of head, with upturned crescent crown above single horizontal line,with single vertical stroke extending upwards; ridged border.
