Description:  Obverse: Head of Tacitus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Emperor, in military attire and helmeted, standing facing r., holding sceptre in l. and receiving globe in r. from Jupiter, naked but cloaked, standing facing l., holding globe in r. and sceptre in l.; A in field, to bottom.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C M CL THCITVS HVC (Imperator Caesar Marcus Claudius Tacitus Augustus). Reverse: CLEMENTIH T-EMP (Time of Peace and Calm). In Exergue: XXI

Bibliography:  RIC V 210 var.

Notes:  As opposed to RIC, the obverse does not show the bust as draped. In accordance with RIC, the XXI in the exergue of the reverse and the A in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Antioch.
