This bronze sculpture is small in scale and sits on top of a short brick plinth set back in the grass. It depicts a young female figure who is nude and is wearing a boater style hat.

This small bronze figure stands amongst the trees in Chancellor’s Court. It depicts a female form who is nude apart from the hat upon her head. Her elbows rest upon the railing behind her. This sculpture was commissioned with the assistance of the Director of the Barber Institute of Fine Arts with a charitable donation by Vice-Chancellor Sir Robert Aitken on his retirement in 1968. A small resin model of this sculpture was shown at the Barber Institute in the early 1970s.
