Reverse: ANN … XIIII (Year 14). Mint mark: … (Untranslatable mint mark). Control mark: B (2). Bibliography: MIB III X43 Notes: Doublestruck on the obverse. This coin is an imitation of the Byzantine from Syria, but it is unclear whether it was under the Persian occupation or the early Caliphate. |
