This cloth is woven of sheeps wool in weft-faced strips, but the strips measure twice the normal width of those usually used in this type of cloth. The main pattern is composed principally of stripes with extra weft patterns in indigo, red-brown, yellow and white. Unfortunately the actual quality of the cloth is quite poor as it is badly worn and holed in places. It is possible that it was originally used as some sort of bridal cloth.
