Inscriptions: Obverse legend off flan. Reverse: I S / F T (Jesus make Tancred safe).
Bibliography: CCS p. 200 no. 6 var.
Notes: Apparently doubly overstruck, this type onto CCS p. 199 no. 4a which had itself been struck on CCS p. 199 no. 3a, but the reverse design of the overtype appears unique. At one of these stages the coin was also clipped, probably subsequent to the final striking since the left obverse legend is missing.
