Description: Obverse: bust of Christ nimbate facing, holding gospel in l. hand, a pellet in the upper two quadrants of the nimbus. Reverse: busts of Basil I. and Constantine r. wearing modified loros and chlamys with jewelled tablion, respectively, and cross crowns with pendilia, holding plain cross between them; above Basil's head, a manus dei.
