Description:  Obverse: bust of Basil l. and Constantine r. wearing loros and chlamys, respectively, and cross crowns with pendilia. In centre, cross crosslet with ornate base on four steps, X at junction of arms and pellet in U on shaft. Reverse: inscription with - · - above and below.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: Cn τOVτω nICA τ bASILЄI C CωhSτ' (In this sign conquer, Basil and Constantine). Reverse + bASIL / C CωhSτAh, / ΠORFVROΓ, / ΠISτV LAS, / RωmAIω, (Basil and Constantine, the purple-born, faithful emperors of the Romans).
