Description:  Obverse: bust of Theophilos bearded facing, wearing chlamys and cross crown, holding patriarchal cross in r. hand and akakia in l. Reverse: M with cross above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: *·θЄ OFIL' bASIL' (Theophilos emperor). Reverse: XXX NNN (corruption from 'year 30'). Control mark: θ.

Notes:  Die for obverse appears to have been larger than die for the reverse.
