Description: Obverse: Bust of Vitellius, laureate, draped, r. Reverse: On r. Vitellius, bare-headed and togate standing l., clasping his r. hand with Roma on l. who is helmeted and in military dress, standing r., holding a shield and spear.
Inscriptions: Obverse: A VITELLIVS GERMAN IMP AVG P M TR … (Aulus Vitellius Germanicus Emperor Augustus, High priest of the college of Pontiffs and Tribune of the people). Reverse: PAX AVGVSTI (Peace of the Augustus), in exergue: S C (By order of the senate).
