Description:  Obverse: Bust of Trajan, laureate, r. Reverse: Triumphal arch with side structures. Above opening, triangular tympanum; on frieze I G M. Surmounted by four horses.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IM... TRΛIΛNO AVG GER DAC P M TR ... (Emperor Caesar Nerva Trajan Augustus Germanicus Dacius, head of the principal college of priests, Tribune of the people, Consul for the fifth time, father of the fatherland). Reverse: S P Q R ...PTIMO PRINCIPI; in exergue S C. (The Senate and the Roman people, the best leader; by order of the Senate).
