Description: Obverse: Bust of Trajan, laureate, r., draped. Reverse: Trajan seated on platform, r., facing l., with the praetorian prefect next to him. Trajan presents Parthamaspates (client king) to kneeling Parthia.
Inscriptions: Obverse: IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO P M … P P (Emperor Caesar Nerva Trajan the best Augustus Germanicus Dacius Parthico, head of the principal college of priests, Tribune of the people, Consul for the sixth time, father of the fatherland). Reverse: REX PARTHIS DATVS; in exergue S C (A king given to the Parthians; by order of the Senate).
