Description:  Obverse: Christ nimbate seated on throne with straight back, book in l. hand. Reverse: Half figure of Alexios facing, wearing cross crown with pendilia, jewelled chlamys with divitision, holding in l. hand globus cruciger and r. hand cross-topped sceptre.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IC XC (Jesus Christ). Reverse: + AΛЄΣIω <ЄC ΠOτ Γω Λ… (Despot Alexios of the Komnenoi).
