Description: Obverse: Facing bust of Maurice, wearing cuirass and plumed helmet with pendilia, holding in r. hand a globus cruciger, on l. shoulder a fold of the paludamentum. Star in r. of field. Reverse: Angel standing facing, holding in r. hand a staff topped with chrismon and in l. hand a globus cruciger.
Inscriptions: Obverse: ON MAVRC TIbPPAVI (Our lord Maurice Tiberius Emperor in Perpetuity). Reverse: VICTORI AAVCC… (Imperial Victory). Control mark: Γ. Mint mark: CONOB.
