Description:  Obverse: Khusrau II, facing r. on frontal bust, bearded, with hair tied in bunch over r. shoulder; six-pointed star to l. and r. of crown; crown with double pearl pellet band, with dome above and mural elements, vertical line above dome connecting to upturned crescent, with six-pointed star within, two wings extend from vertical line; upturned crescent r. of crown; upturned crescent above l. and r. shoulder; single pellet line at neckline, large pellet at centre, two pellets .. on breast, double pearl pellet line extending from shoulder to sternum; ribbons extending from behind shoulders upwards; double pellet border, single pellet at 225 degrees between the two pellet rings; three crescents with six-pointed star at 90, 180 and 270 degrees. Reverse: Fire altar, narrow column type, with three steps at base, and three steps at top, narrow column at centre, ribbons extending from centre upwards; fire atop altar, depicted as four rows of four pellets, three pellets, two pellets and one pellet respectively; six-pointed star to l. of fire, upturned crescent to r. of fire; flanking the altar two attendants, wearing crowns, arms lowered to waist, where they clasp a sword/barsom, trousers depicted with chevrons, single ribbon rising upward from neck of each attendant; triple pellet border; four crescents with six-pointed star at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees, single pellet l. of 180 degree crescent.
