Description:  Obverse: Head of Augustus, wearing laurel wreath, facing r. Reverse: Domed tetrastyle temple, in which triumphal currus stands facing r. shaft up, containing aquila and four miniature galloping horses.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: CAESARI AVCVSTO (Founded by Caesar Augustus). Reverse: None. In Exergue: S.Γ.Q.R (The Senate and the People of Rome).
