Description:  Obverse: Head of Nero, wearing laurel wreath and bearded, facing r. Reverse: Inscription to l. and r. of Roma, helmeted and in military dress, seated on cuirass and facing l.; in r. holding Victory and l. resting on parazonium; around and behind various shields, etc.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP NERO CLAVD CAESAR.AVG GER Γ M TR P P P (Imperator, Nero Claudius Caesar, Augustus Germanicus, Head of the College of Priests, Tribune, Father of the Fatherland). Reverse: S C (Translation disputed). In Exergue: ROMA (Roma).
