Description:  Obverse: Head of Nero, wearing laurel wreath and facing r. Reverse: Nero, bare-headed, cuirassed, cloak flying behind, prancing facing r. on horseback carrying spear at rest in r.; in front of him, advancing r., a foot soldier holding vexillum in r. over r. shoulder and holding shield in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GFRM P M TR P IMP I P (Nero Claudius Caesar, Augustus Germanicus, Head of the College of Priests, Tribune, Imperator, Father of the Fatherland). Reverse: None. In Exergue: DECVRSIO S C (Decursio - equestrian maneuvre. S C; Translation disputed).

Notes:  The reverse is a variant in having only one solider in front of Nero looking forward. Also, S C in exergue rather than field, and there is no sign of Nero's aegis on the obverse.
