Description:  Obverse: Head of Nero, wearing laurel wreath, with aegis on, and facing r. Reverse: View of the harbor at Ostia; Statue of Neptune set on pharos, above; Tiber reclining facing l., holding rudder in r. with dolphin to his l., below; seven ships within central harbour.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M YR P IMP P P (Nero Claudius Caesar, Augustus Germanicus, Head of the College of Priests, Tribune, Imperator, Father of the Fatherland). Reverse: ΛVGVS TI (By Augustus). In Exergue: S.POR.OST c (The Port of Ostia, S C; Translation disputed).
