Description:  Obverse: Head of Caracalla, wearing laurel wreath, draped, cuirassed, and bearded, facing r. Reverse: Mars, helmeted and standing facing l., holding Victory in extended r. and resting l. on shield, spear leaning against l. arm; at feet, l., captive seated.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: ɪɪ …VREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVC BRɪɪ (Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Pius Augustus Britannicus). Reverse: P M IR P XVI COS IIII P P S C (Head of the College of the Priests, Tribune for the Sixteenth Time, Consul for the Fourth Time, Father of the Fatherland; S C - Translation Disputed).
