Description:  Obverse: Head of Elagbalus, wearing laurel wreath, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Elagabalus, togate and seated facing l., on platform, holding sceptre; before him, Liberalitas, draped, standing facing l., holding abacus in r. and cornucopiae in l.; to l., citizen, standing r., mounting steps of platform.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS PIVS AVG (Imperator Caesar, Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Pius Augustus). Reverse: P M TR P II COS II P P (Head of the College of Priests, Tribune for the Second Time, Consul for the Second Time, Father of the Fatherland). In Exergue: LIBERAL AVC II S C (The Generosity of the Emperor for the Second Time; S C - Translation Disputed).
