Description: Obverse: Basil standing facing, bearded, wearing loros and crown topped with cross, holding labarum in r. hand. Reverse: Leo l. and Alexander r. standing facing, beardless, both wearing chlamys and crown topped with cross, six-pointed star above.
Inscriptions: Obverse: bA SILIS AII (Basil, emperor). Reverse: + L[…] CЄ ALЄJ […] (Leo and Alexander, emperors).

Notes: This type is listed as Constantinople by Dumbarton Oaks, and unknown mint by Bibliotheque Nationale, but is stylistically and in terms of content extremely similar to types of Sicilian coins of Theophilos.
