Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximus, bare, draped, facing r. Reverse: Priestly emblems: jug between lituus and knife on l. and to r., simpulum and sprinkler.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: C IVL VERVS MAXIMVS CAES (Gaius Julius Verus Maximus Caesar). Reverse: PIETΛS AVG (Imperial Piety). In Exergue: Γ C (Translation Disputed).
