Description: Obverse: Head of Gordian, wearing radiate crown, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Virtus, helmeted and in military attire, standing frontally, head facing l., holding branch in r. and spear in l.; shield resting against r. side.
Inscriptions: Obverse: IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG (Imperator Gordian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: VIR-TV-S ΛVG (Courage of the Emperor).
