Description:  Obverse: Bust of Virgin facing, wearing habit and cowl, hands raised in orans position. Reverse: Bust of Leo standing facing with long bear, wearing chlamys marked with pelleted borders and crown topped with cross, holding in r. hand a globus cruciger.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: + MARIA + // MHR ΘЧ (Maria, Mother of God). Reverse: LEOh Eh CRISTO bASIEЧS ROMEOh (Leo, by Christ emperor of the Romans).
