Description: Obverse: Bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, holding in l. hand bejewelled book. Reverse: Theotokos on l. facing, wearing tunic and maphorion, with M and Θ to either side of her, to r. facing bust of Nikephoros, bearded, wearing loros and crown topped with cross. Both holding long patriarchal cross between them, Theotokos with r. hand placed above Nikephoros' r. hand.
Inscriptions: Obverse: + IhS XIS RCX RЄCNANTIhM (Jesus Christ, King of Kings). Reverse: + ΘЄOTOC' b'HΘ' nICHF'dЄSP (Mother of God aid Nikephoros, Lord).
