Description: Obverse: Three borders of pellets around inscription, ornamented by eight globes, cross above and cross beneath. Reverse: Cross on two steps, with portrait at interection of cross of bust of Nikephoros facing, with beard, wearing loros and crown with pendilia. Letters N and I to l. and letters C and F to r of bust. Three borders of pellets, ornamented by eight globes.
Inscriptions: Obverse: + nICHF' Єn X'Ѡ AVTO/CRAT, ЄVSЄb bASILЄVS RѠMAIѠ' (Nikephoros, in Christ pious emperor of the Romans). Reverse: + IhSЧS XRI STЧS nICA * (Jesus Christ conquers).
