Description: Obverse: Head of Gordian, wearing radiate crown, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Fortuna, draped, seated facing l., holding rudder set on ground in r. and cornucopiae in l.; wheel under seat.
Inscriptions: Obverse: IMP UORDIANVS PIVS HEL ΛVG (Imperator Gordian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: FOPTVNA REDVX (Fortune the Brings Back the Emperor in Safety).
