Description:  Obverse: Head of Hostilian, wearing radiate crown, draped, facing r. Reverse: Uberitas, draped, standing facing l., holding purse in r. and cornucopiae in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: C OVΔL OSTIL MES COVLITVS /VC (Gaius Valens Hostilian Messius Quintus, Augustus). In Exergue: IIV (sic. Four). Reverse: VDELLITUS ΛVC (To The Fruitfulness of the Emperor).

Bibliography:  RIC IV 207 var. (Trajan Decius)

Notes:  Coin varies from RIC type 207b as it has IIV in exergue on obverse, rather than IV.
