Description: Obverse: Justin and Sophia, nimbate, seated on a lyre-backed double throne facing; Sophia wearing a trefoil crown, holding a cross sceptre in l. hand, Justin wearing diadem and holding globus cruciger in r. hand. Reverse: K with M above.
Inscriptions: Obverse: … N IVST … NVS … (Our lord Justin, eternal Augustus). Reverse ANNO ЧI (Year 6). Mint mark: TЄS.

Notes: Overstruck on an eight or sixteen nummi piece of Justinian I; part of the inscription from the obverse of the undertype is visible on the obverse of the coin (D N), and also the shoulder of Justinian; and the A from the reverse of the undertype is visible on the reverse of the coin.
