Description:  Obverse: Shapur III, facing r. on frontal bust, bearded, hair tied in bunch over l. shoulder, earring; crown, with floral decorative elements within, korymbos above, two ribbons extending to l.; single pellet band at neckline, double pellet band extending from shoulders to sternum; single pellet border. Reverse: Fire altar, with two steps at base, two steps at top, with altar slab above; fire atop altar, with bust within flames; attendants to l. and r. of altar, crowned, holding sword/barsom, facing towards altar; single pellet border.
