Description:  Obverse: Bust of Narseh, bearded, with hair in plaits; crowned, with three cinquefoil elements atop crown, with korymbos above; decoration at neckline; single pellet border. Reverse: Fire altar, with two steps at base, two at top, with altar slab above; fire atop altar; to l. of fire, symbol of fravahar, to r. of fire, taurus symbol; attendants flanking the altar, crowned, holding barsom, facing altar; single pellet border.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: MZDYSN BGI NRŠHI MLKAN MLKA AYRAN MN ČTRY MN YZDN (MAZDAYASNA BAGI NARSHI MALKAN MALKA AYRAN MIN CHITRY MIN YAZDAN/Mazda-worshipping divine Narseh, King of Kings of Iran, whose seed is from the Gods). Reverse: NURA ZI NARŠHI (Fire of Narseh)
