Description: Obverse: Head of Genius, wearing radiate crown with modius/turret atop, facing r. Reverse: Inscription encircled by laurel wreath.
Inscriptions: Obverse: CI...IV-S P ... (The Genius of the Roman People). Reverse: S C (Translation Disputed).
Bibliography: RIC V 2 var (Interregnum)
Notes: This coin has been attributed to the interregnum (275), by RIC V, and the head on the obverse likened to Gallienus (253-60; 260-8) due to similar facial features. The reverse legend is a variation to the type displayed by RIC, as it does not include INT VRB in the first instance.
