Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Fides, draped, standing facing l., holding two ensigns.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: PROBV-S P F HVC (Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: FIDES M-ILITVM (Loyalty of the Soldier). In Exergue: R [symbol] E

Notes:  Silvered. In accordance with RIC, the R[symbol]E in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Rome. The symbol is either an elongated star or a thunderbolt.
