Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed and wearing imperial mantle, holding sceptre surmounted by eagle, facing l. Reverse: Roma, draped and helmeted, head facing l., seated in temple, holding Victory in r. and sceptre in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: PROBV-S P F AVG (Imperator Probus Augustus). Reverse: ROMΛE AETER (To Everlasting Rome). In Exergue: R[symbol]Δ

Bibliography:  RIC V 187

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the R[symbol]Δ in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Rome. The symbol is either an elongated star or a thunderbolt.
