Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed and wearing imperial mantle, holding sceptre surmounted by eagle, facing l. Reverse: Roma, draped and helmeted, head facing l., seated in temple, holding Victory in r. and sceptre in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C PROBVS P F HVG (Imperator Caesar Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: ROMHE HETERNHE (To Everlasting Rome). In Exergue: RH

Bibliography:  RIC V 192 var.

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the R[A] in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Rome, though this is a slight deviation from the usual mintmarks that accompany this type (RΔ, RϚ, RZ, R*A, R*Δ).
