Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, draped, facing r. Reverse: Emperor, in military attire, standing facing r., holding sceptre (?) in l. and receiving globe from Jupiter, naked, standing facing l., holding spear in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C M AVR PROBVS HVC (Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Probus Augustus). Reverse: IOVI CCNS...-ΛVΛT (Jupiter, the Protector). In Exergue: VXXT

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the VXXT in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Ticinum.
