Description: Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed or holding shield, holding spear, facing l. Reverse: Mars, naked but helmeted and cloaked, walking facing r., holding spear in r. and trophy in l. over shoulder.
Inscriptions: Obverse: VI-HTVS PROBI HVC (The Courage of Probus Augustus). Reverse: UIHTIIS AUC (Courage of the Emperor). In Exergue: PXXT

Notes: In accordance with RIC, the PXXT in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Ticinum. On the obverse, there may have been an error when engraving Probus' body.
