Description:  Obverse: Bust of Maurice facing, wearing trefoil crown with pendilia, chlamys, with loros scarf draped over shoulders, holding mappa aloft in r. hand, and eagle-topped sceptre in l. hand. Reverse: X, cross above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: ΠITIO … ~VPPIV (Garbled Inscription). Reverse: ANNO I (Year 1). Mint mark: 9 [in retrograde].
