Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, holding spear and shield, facing l. Reverse: Mars, naked but cloaked and helmeted, walking facing r., holding spear in r. and trophy in l. over shoulder.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C M AVR PROBVS Γ F AVG (Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: VIRTVS PRO-BI HVG (The Courage of Probus Augustus). In Exergue: XXIIII
