Notes:  There is some contention as to whether this coin was struck during the reign of Maurice for his son Theodosius, or whether it was struck after the murder of Maurice and his family, in the name of Theodosious, the son of Maurice; perhaps by the failed revolt of the Armenian, Narses, in the name of Theodosius.
