Description:  Obverse: Head of Diocletian, wearing laurel wreath and beard, wearing imperial mantle, holding olive-branch in r. and mappa in l., facing r. Reverse: Providentia, draped, standing facing r., holding baton in l. and extending r. to Quies, draped, standing facing l., holding branch in r. and sceptre in l.; S and F in field, to l. and r. of figure respectively.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N DIOCLETIANO FELICISSIMO SEN AVC (Our Lord Diocletian, Most Fortunate, Senior Augustus). Reverse: PRoVIUENTIH DEORVM QVIES HVCC (Foresight of the Gods, Retirement of the Emperors). In Exergue: PTR
