Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximian, wearing laurel wreath and beard, facing r. Reverse: Roma, draped and helmeted, seated frontally with head facing l., in a hexastyle temple, holding globe in r. and sceptre in l.; knobs as acroteria, pediment empty.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C MHXIMIHNVS P F AVC (Imperator Caesar Maximian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: CONSERV VRB SVHE (Defender of His City). In Exergue: ST

Notes:  Traces of silvering. According to RIC, the ST in the exergue on the reverse are mintmarks indicating Ticinum.
