Description:  Obverse: Bust of Christ (Type VIIb) facing, with cross nimbus having one pellet in each arm of cross, wearing tunic and himation; r. hand raised in blessing, l. hand holds book; nomina sacra in l. and r. field; border of large pellets. Reverse: Half-length figure of the Virgin facing, nimbate, orans, wearing tunic and maphorion; nomina sacra in l. and r. field; border of large pellets.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IC XC (Jesus Christ). Reverse: M Θ (Mother of God).
