Description: Obverse: Three-quarter-length figure of Christ Antiphonetes (Type IV c) facing, bearded, with cross nimbus having pellet in each arm, wearing tunic and himation; r. hand raised in blessing, l. hand holding book; six-pointed star to l. and r. of Christ. Reverse: Cross of equal arms ending in globules; In the centre, circle within which star of eight rays.
Inscriptions: Obverse: IC (Jesus). Reverse: C Φ N Δ (Cross, protect the despot Nikephoros).
