Description:  Obverse: Head of Licinius II, wearing helmet, cuirassed, holding spear in r. and shield in l., facing l. Reverse: Jupiter, naked but cloaked, standing facing l., holding Victory on globe in r. and leaning on sceptre with l.; eagle holding wreath in beak at feet, to l., and captive at feet, to r.; [laurel wreath] IIΓ X in field, to l., mid r. and top r. respectively.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N VHL LICIN LICISIVS NOB C (Our Lord Valerius Licinianus Licinius, Noble Caesar). Reverse: IOVI CONS-ERVHTOBI (To Jupiter, the Defender) In Exergue: SMHR

Notes:  According to RIC, the SM[KA] in the exergue of the reverse and [laurel wreath] IIΓ X in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officinae) indicating Kyzikos. This coin features a variant on the mintmark as found in RIC.
