Description:  Obverse: Head of Theodora, wearing laurel wreath, mantled, facing r. Reverse: Pietas, draped, standing frontally with head facing r., carrying an infant at breast.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: FL MΛX THLD-DORAE HVC (Flavia Maximiana Theodora Augusta). Reverse: PIETAƆ ROMHNH (Roman Piety). In Exergue: ΓΠS[branch]

Bibliography:  RIC VIII 91 var

Notes:  According to RIC, the [TR]S[branch] in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Treveri. As opposed to the RIC type, this coin shows no necklace on the obverse.
